We regret to inform you that a student at Lookeba-Sickles HS has tested positive for COVID-19. Currently, we are following CDC guidelines , protocols set by the State Health Department, and our school district, to decrease the spread. Therefore, we have made the decision to transition to Distance Learning for ALL JH and HS students, beginning Monday, Sept. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 8. We understand that this is not an ideal situation and is an inconvenience for all involved. Should the health department determine that any individual students should be quarantined, you will be informed.
Lunch and breakfast will be available for pickup each day. Please call the HS by 9:30 am, with a number, if you would like your students to get lunch/breakfast. It will be available for pickup between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm, in front of the gym.
Students will need to check their email for login information, to get necessary class information and assignments. It is vital that you login and stay in contact with your teachers. If you do not have access to a computer or internet, please contact the office by phone (405.457.6621) or email (email@example.com), on Monday. We will work as quickly as possible to accommodate that need.
This is not a quarantine; just a safety precaution for our students and employees.
